CORE & CAREER COACHING
Business owners, educators, & NonProfit professionals
I cannot speak highly enough of Mallory. When we first started working together, I was in a huge rut of self-doubt and fear. I was clueless as to how I was going to find a job that was right for me, paralyzed by feelings of inadequacy, and guilty that I couldn’t seem to just get it together. I struggled every day with voices in my head that told I wasn’t doing enough. She showed me new ways to look at the challenges ahead of me and break down what I would need to do to find a job that really fulfilled me. She helped me identify and move past key limiting beliefs that were keeping me from being productive and - more importantly - happy. Thanks to her, I now have a job that feels really good for me, where I can use my talents and learn every day. I wouldn’t trade my time with Mallory for anything in the world, and if you can work with her, than ABSOLUTELY go for it! You have nothing to gain but greater self-confidence and movement forward in your life.
Mallory exemplifies the word “empowering”. She is extremely perceptive, with a keen eye for identifying and building people’s strengths. Her coaching is always incredibly actionable, and I can’t think of a more caring, thoughtful, and inspiring coach. She has helped me better understand and appreciate the most important parts of who I am and who I have the potential to become. I am incredibly grateful for everything I have learned from working with Mallory, as I know her mentorship will benefit every aspect of my future career - and, more broadly, my entire life.
I met Mallory when she was the executive director of Global Student Embassy 5 years ago. From the day I met her, I remember thinking "wow, this woman is a powerhouse." I am a business owner in Oakland. Mallory is always the first person I call to get honest, professional and heartfelt advice with management, employee performance improvement tactics, and business strategy. In addition to seeking business advice from Mallory, she is also the first person that I call when I need personal advice during challenging times. Mallory has helped me feel empowered in my decisions by truly listening, and providing empathetic and thoughtful feedback. Mallory's demeanor is gentle and compassionate. She has helped me work through some of the most difficult things that I have faced in my life. Mallory has helped me realize my ability to move through painful times with confidence, clarity, and self-love rather than giving into insecurity and self-doubt. This woman has been a true blessing in my life, and I cannot recommend her more highly.
Mallory approaches coaching on a genuine human level, recognizing the strength of each individual person she develops. She draws on her own strengths of compassion and to help others realize their capabilities, even when they doubt themselves.
Mallory provided me with an open and honest perspective whenever I came to her with challenges. She helped me see all sides of the issue and empowered me to always make decisions that would be best for me. Mallory encouraged me to never settle and never accept anything less than I deserve.
Mallory is always the person I turn too when I have doubts or need guidance. She has helped me untangle my thoughts and feelings, to understand what is truly driving me and where I want to go. She has a way of getting me to quiet my inner critic and recognize my strengths.
YOUTH DEVELOPMENT & ACADEMIC COACHING
TEST-ANXIETY COACHING & YOUTH EMPOWERMENT
I met Mallory my freshman year of high school and had the opportunity to work with her for all four years of school. Her positive energy and supportive attitude always made me feel encouraged to work hard to achieve my goals. Mallory's willingness to be open about sharing her life experiences along with being able to reflect on her strengths and weaknesses made me realize what it really means to be an effective and inclusive leader. I wouldn't be who I am today without Mallory's support and advice.
Mallory taught me that it is okay to go against what society tells you to do. The way that “everyone” else is doing things isn’t perfect either. She showed me how to be a strong leader in a authentic and compassionate way. The leadership skills that I gained through Mallory’s coaching have allowed me to take on new challenges with confidence.
I met Mallory while I was in high school, in the midst of a deep but well veiled depression. Mallory helped me feel welcome and empowered as I engaged in the garden program and Global Student Embassy. I felt a sense of belonging in the garden, and the responsibility drew me out of isolation. I made mistakes, but rather than making me feel badly about them, Mallory uplifted me and was a prime example of what it means to be a powerful and inspiring woman- I didn’t want to disappoint her, I wanted to be inspiring and powerful like her. This year I reached out to Mallory while I was going through a tough time, and thanked her for a message she had written on her facebook profile that made me feel less alone. Mallory was extremely loving and supportive, making me feel totally comfortable with the fact that I had expressed thoughts about a difficult experience that I had been through. Mallory is an extremely empathetic soul, and I strive to be like her. While traveling as a student in Nicaragua, I attended a yoga class that she led. It was pure therapy that left me feeling totally refreshed. My favorite thing about Mallory is her honesty: she does not hold back or pretend that her journey has been totally easy. I hope that one day I can inspire and provide a safe space for people in the way that Mallory has done for me.
